Music FunTime® introduces your child to music as early as 2 years of age. This weekly class of no more than 6 children per class, introduces children to music theory, instrumentation, percussion, music reading, and more. All done in child-related activities, these kids develop an understanding of music that surpasses many. A lifelong interest in music starts here.
FMAA is the only licensed to teach the Music FunTime® curriculum in Fresno and surrounding communities. To read more about Music FunTime® Click here for more information.
Is your child interested in Art? Art FUNdamentals® is a fine arts program that will have your child exploring the world of art through weekly classes. Each month, students will learn about the fundamentals of art, including Line, Color, Shape, Form, Pattern and Texture. Students will work with clay, watercolors, drawing, collage, and oil pastels! A unique part of this program is the teaching of Master Artists. Research shows that art improves self-esteem, leads to higher test scores in classrooms, and helps to create a sense of belonging and community.
FMAA’s Rhythm & Rainbows is a preschool music & arts class that combines these two amazing programs into a 45-minute class for our preschool age students, ages 2-5 years old.
Students enjoy these classes once a week, and there are multiple class sessions to choose from between the Tower District and North Fresno locations. Tuition for the Rhythm & Rainbows classes are $184/month. There is a one-time materials fee of $25 that’s paid along with the first payment to start the membership. The materials fee covers any materials your child would get throughout the class.
We offer a trial class option for new students. It’s a great way for students to experience our Rhythm & Rainbows class with no obligation beyond that point. During the trial class, they’ll get to participate fully and get a taste of the fun and educational experience we offer. It’s just $25 for the one-time trial session. After the trial class, if the student loves the experience and would like to continue, we’ll be happy to enroll them for the regular sessions. If not, there’s no obligation whatsoever. We want to make sure it’s the right fit for your child before committing to the full program.
Because of the way the curriculum is formulated, students will start at the first of the month - so if you’re signing up in the middle of the month, we will schedule students to begin on the first session of the next month so they get the most and best out of the current curriculum.
